102 years of celebrating Independence

Today Georgia celebrates The independence day of Georgia which is the highest significance in the country’s history.

It is already more than 1 century  from the day when Georgia became independent. On this day 102 years ago Georgia became independent form the Russia Empire. From the signing act of independence Georgia called Democratic Republic of Georgia.

18700288_450481955298325_4045248555773976959_n26 May means a lot for me as for every Georgian citizen. independence of my country means to be independence person who have the ability to have a good quality of education, who have independent Media in my country and so. Out of this everything I am so thankful of 102 years ago “parliament” of my country, thankful because i live in Democratic Republic of Georgia.

This day is a real celebration for every Georgian, so our country always celebrates its with many events and activities. 2020 is a first year when we are not celebrating our independence, because of the CoronaVirus pandemic, but i have a honor to tell you about last years 26 May.

Actually at 26 May the main streets of capital city Tbilisi is closing because at Rustaveli and at Liberty street there are lots of activities for child and adults too. We all have lots of fun in streets, we eat Georgian national food, drink Georgian vine, listen Georgian music, we have the opportunity to see Georgian Army’s equipment and so.

We have to mention that, people all around the world including famous people are congratulating Georgia. Can not mention the congratulation of Ambassador of kingdom of Norway which was very memorable, because ambassador talks in Georgian.
